The John Wayne Birthplace & Museum family is sad to report the passing of board member Wayne Davis on November 6, 2020. Wayne served as Secretary of our board for many years, and was a meticulous record keeper. He served the community of Winterset in many ways. He was a friend to all of us. We will miss Wayne, and we give our sincere condolences to his wife, Kim.
The family has designated the John Wayne Birthplace & Museum as the recipient of memorials for Wayne.
